I fell in love with festivals early, watching my mum's band play, and I've never forgotten the joy and connection they bring. On the day I follow the artist's journey on stage and that build, that release, that moment everyone's hands go up, but I look for the small things too: someone buying a drink, a familiar face, a flash of stillness. The goal is photos and videos that let anyone who wasn't there feel the vibe, and anyone who was, relive it.

A single gig is one act, one stage, one set of lighting conditions. A festival runs multiple stages across a full day or several days, with changing light from afternoon to night, crowd and site coverage alongside the performances, and content needed while the event is still running. I cover festivals across Byron Bay, Australia and Beyond, Such as Karnidale in WA.
Festival content has to land while people are still on site. I deliver a rolling selection of at least 15 edited images by Midnight each day, so the event’s social channels can post between sets, with the full gallery supplied within 2 weeks. Same-day turnaround is built into the shoot plan, not treated as an extra.
Yes. I carry $5 million public liability cover, and I supply a certificate of currency on request for council permits, venue conditions and event insurance schedules. I arrange accreditation, pit access, photo passes and any first-three-song conditions with the event’s media contact before the gates open.
All three, and they need different images. I shoot stage performance for the artists and their labels, crowd, site and atmosphere for the event’s own marketing and next year’s ticket campaign, and activation, signage and branded moments for sponsor reporting.

I price festival photography per day or per event rather than by the hour. Costs depend on the number of days, stages, plus image volume and delivery speed, with same-day delivery available for socials and press.
