In a studio, I control the light, the pose and the timing. At a gig, none of that is available: the light changes bar to bar, the artist moves, and the moment happens once. I shoot live across Byron Bay, Gold Coast, and Brisbane venues, including The Arts Factory Garden Bar, The Northern, The Railway Friendly Bar, The Beach Hotel and many more venues, working on anticipation rather than reaction.
Yes. I cover festivals, venues and single gigs across Byron Bay to Brisbane, shooting stage and crowd so artists, promoters and venue managers each get usable material. My festival coverage runs across the full day and multiple acts, producing images for recaps, sponsors and next year’s lineup. Past work includes the Karridale Circus Festival in WA and the Talent Show in Byron Bay.
I’m based in Byron Bay and shoot regularly on the Gold Coast. I quote travel for tours, regional festivals and interstate runs per job, and I’m more than happy to travel for work anywhere around the world.
